The Season’s 1st Nor’Easter!

The Season’s 1st Nor’Easter!

New England’s 1st Big Storm of the Season

For those unfamiliar, a Nor’easter is what folks in the northeast call a “wicked big winter storm.” And this past weekend, the clouds did not disappoint. The storm helped out snowmakers in Vermont and really hit its stride as it headed northeast into Maine. Let’s take a peek at some of what Mother Nature left behind at resorts over the past few days!

Killington Resort – Killington, VT

Saddleback Mountain – Rangeley, ME

Sugarbush – Warren, VT

Sugarloaf – Carrabassett Valley, ME

Sunday River – Newry, ME

The Forecast:

Looking ahead, our friends at OpenSnow are predicting some more snow, and it looks like mountains throughout New Hampshire and Maine will cash in on the bigger totals with smaller accumulations forecast for Vermont.
