Significant Snow Totals Across Much of Colorado
This most recent storm across the Rockies, started with flurries and Sunday and continued with flakes through Tuesday morning. Our friends at OpenSnow had originally predicted resorts could be reporting anywhere from 6 to 20+ inches of fresh new Colorado White Gold! Let’s take a lift up and ski down around the interwebs to see what those totals ended up looking like!
Wolf Creek reports storm totals of 25+ Inches!
Wolf Creek with a casual twenty five inches of new snow. Not a typo, TWO FEET of new snow!
Arapahoe Basin dials up 9″ of new pow!

Copper Mountain with half a foot of fresh!
Copper mountain reporting 6+ inches since Sunday including 4 inches overnight as seen by this video from their snow stake cam.
Telluride topping off with 9″ of the fluff stuff!
Yesterday looked like a great day to ski and ride at Telluride Ski Resort if this photo is any indication, with 5 more inches overnight adding up to a 9 in. storm total.
Silverton Mountain clocking in with 19″ of snow
The storm did not disappoint the skiers and riders at Silverton Mountain, who opened for the season on December 26th. The ski area is reporting a whopping 19″ of snow in the last 24 hours with another 10″ or so predicted in the next 5 days.
Steamboat settling for 7.5 inches of new snow?
Official reports from Steamboat Resort listing 7.5 inches from the storm, but their snow cams sharing a different story!
