Colorado Rocked by Miraculous March Storm
Colorado hit hard by big spring storm
We may have sprung forward over the weekend, but mother nature flashed back to full fledged winter in Colorado. The storm blanketed the state with some of the heaviest snow in decades. Totals in Denver were just over 27 inches marking the 4th biggest total since 1881! While a few roads were closed and some lost power, the ski resorts reaped some serious spring benefits! Let’s take a look around and see how the snow stacked up!
Arapahoe Basin – 10 inches
Aspen – 19 Inches
Breckenridge – 11 Inches
Eldora – 23 Inches
Telluride – 28 Inches!
Vail – 10 Inches
Winter Park – 31 Inches!
Winter’s Not Done Yet!
The days may be getting longer, but that just means more time to enjoy all this fresh spring snow! Our friends at OpenSnow are tracking two additional storms right on the heels of this weekend’s blizzard with snow expected Tuesday night into Wednesday and later in the week, Sunday into Monday.

So keep those skis and boards waxed and at the ready. Because at least in Colorado, winter is not done yet! Are you out shredding in miracle March powder? We want to see, so please remember to share with us by tagging us on Instagram @TheSnowReport, or post in our Facebook Group. Enjoy the freshies Colorado!
