The Snow Report S6 Ep. 14

Halley O’Brien is back with another episode bringing you what you need to know about all things snow and another guaranteed good time! On this week’s show, we’re talking new definitions of faceplants and farming. The snow farmer in question is Dave Van Dame of Alta. To see the video Halley is talking about, click here after the episode, to watch it in full! The frosty beverages featured are from Roadhouse Brewing Co in Jackson Hole. For more details on the Walrus Hazy IPA and more, be sure to tune into last week’s episode of our Beyond the Après podcast!

What to know from OpenSnow!

February went out pretty much the same way it came in. A little snow for everybody here and there, but extra deep goodness in the Pow-cific Northwest!

As we kick off March it looks like the weather pattern will take a small break except for British Columbia which will continue to get pounded. Heading into next week there will be more active systems developing, with California resorts likely to see the bulk of the snow.

As always head on over to OpenSnow or download their mobile app for the most up to date conditions at resorts near you!

Ikon-ic Resort Lingo and a Giveaway!

In the show we have our 2nd gameshow and giveaway thanks to our friends at the IKON Pass. The gameshow is for Halley and the giveaway is for you. Up for grabs is Ikon Session 4-Day pass good for this season or next! But, first Halley tries to decipher IKON Resort locations based on their local lingo.

The gameshow might have been harder than milking a Grizzly for Halley, but winning our giveaway is much easier. Here’s how to enter!

  1. Follow @TheSnowReport and @IkonPass on Instagram
  2. Like the post below.
  3. Tag TWO of your friends and talk about your home mountain using your region’s lingo.

Multiple entries allowed and the winner will be announced on @thesnowreport IG on 3/9/2021. Good luck and stay tuned for more prizes in the coming weeks!
