New First Tracks Benefit for Ikon Passholders
Ikon Pass To Offer First Tracks To All Ikon Passholders
On Thursday, April 29th, Ikon Pass announced that all Ikon passholders will have access to a new First Tracks benefit at select Ikon destinations during the 21/22 winter season.
Which Resorts Are We Talking About?
Currently Steamboat, Winter Park Resort, Squaw Valley Alpine Meadows, Mammoth Mountain, June Mountain, Big Bear Mountain Resort, Stratton, Sugarbush Resort, Snowshoe, Crystal Mountain, Tremblant, Blue Mountain, Deer Valley Resort, and Solitude Mountain Resort will offer Ikon Pass First Tracks during the winter 21/22 season.
What Else Do I Need To Know?
This benefit will provide all Ikon passholders access to freshly groomed corduroy and untracked powder before the chairlifts open to the general public. Of course, individual resort season passes may also provide this type of First Tracks access… Cue the age-old-battle between locals vs. tourists.
However unlike most individual ski resort season passes, the Ikon Pass First Tracks benefit will be limited to one designated morning per month in January, February and March during the 2022 season. It appears these days will be designated by Ikon, and not necessarily by the skier or rider. More info to come on November 1st, 2021.
