Dreaming of a White Christmas… Forecast
Many Ski Areas Across the West Forecast to Have a White Christmas
Twas’ the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a skier was stirring… Because they all went to bed early because Christmas morning was going to be a pow day. Yup, it looks like everyone west of the Mississippi sat on Santa’s lap and asked for snow this year. And the jolly big guy is set to deliver all over the West from California up through Washington, and Wyoming down to Utah and Colorado. And not just a dusting. Measurable, quality snow.
Christmas Resort Roundup
He’s checkin’ his forecast, and he’s checkin’ it twice.
Here is a look at what’s coming down the chimney for the good little boys and girls at some of the West’s biggest resorts this Christmas. (Alta, Aspen, Mt. Bachelor, Crystal Mountain, Jackson Hole, and Palisades all with Christmas snow in the forecast.)
Those of you with sugar plums dancing in your heads on the east coast might wake up to a mixed bag, literally. The forecast is calling for either snow or the dreaded “r” word. Let’s hope the forecast is more nice than naughty and delivers some Christmas cheer.
New Year, New Forecast
If Santa isn’t bringing you the pow day you asked for this year, don’t worry. 2022 is right around the corner. And with it new forecasts and new snow.
