Italy to Host 2026 Winter Olympics
Who Wants To Go To Italy?
The International Olympic Committee announced Italy’s bid to host the 2026 Winter Olympics has been accepted. The IOC made the announcement after a daylong conference in Lausanne, Switzerland, with a winning bid of 47 votes.
The Games will be held in Milan and at the ski resort Cortina d’Ampezzo, which is nestled on a part of the Dolomite mountain range.
Most of the alpine skiing and snowboarding events will take place at Cortina d’Ampezzo, while skating and hockey will be held in Milan.


This will be the 3rd time the Winter Olympics will take place Italy, and it’ll be the fourth time the country plays host overall.
