Mentally, you may be ready for those lifts to start turning… but are your legs? I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling a little softer around the edges this year. And I’m starting to get worried my annual first-day-on-the-slopes-soreness might last a little longer than usual. So who better to help us avoid that than Olympic Gold Medalist, former host of MTV’s The Challenge, and current voice of Warren Miller movies, Jonny Moseley? Follow along for some of his favorite training exercises to get the body ready for sliding down snow.

Everyone needs to put in a little more work to get in shape, even Jonny. In the meantime, start stretching, go for a walk, maybe even try some of these exercises. Every bit helps. And just remember, if you don’t get in shape for this ski season, you’ll be one year older when you do!
